Leah has been such an amazing addition to our family. She is so loved. She can be mean, but her brothers love her so much. Ian is her best little buddy, and she is really going to be lost without him next year when he's in school all day. Leah is smart and funny. She makes us laugh. She was a very easy toddler and is now a not-so-easy four-year-old. She's hitting that whiny, clingy, scared of strangers, won't talk to anyone outside the family phase a little late, but I'm sure she'll grow out of that too. When she is home and being herself she is really fun to be around. She talks a mile a minute, sings Primary and Disney songs at the top of her lungs, loves to help me with just about anything, and is my little shadow. Leah is doing well in preschool and loves her teacher. She was doing well in Sunbeams but not so much anymore. Leah is a tough little cookie with an independent spirit. She is creative and resourceful and uses that little arm like nobody's business. She has brothers and there the times she said "butt hair" repeatedly or discussed a "butt crack with a fart" at length, but in general she's sweet! She asks me often to "snuggle her" and gives the best tight hugs and kisses. This girl loves us fiercely and we love her right back. She's a force to be reckoned with. Watch out world!
Leah's cousins and grandparents came over for a Frozen birthday party. Ian, Leah, and Seth made snowflakes to decorate. Some of the best ones were hers...watching her hold that paper and cut is one of many examples of times she amazes me! I did my best with a Frozen cake--one that was simple and didn't require me to have a million hours and some professional sculpting experience. The kids ate pizza, ran around and played, ate cake and ice cream, made mini Olafs, and opened presents.
Happy Birthday Leah!
