Happy Birthday Seth

Friday was Seth's birthday, and we've been celebrating all weekend. He is three! I really don't know where the time has gone. I will post some pictures of our partying, but in the meantime here are a few things about Seth at this age. Our lives would definitely not be as exciting, funny, messy, or filled with love without him. We love you Seth!

• At least three our four times a day Seth comes up to me and says, "I do lub you mom." Awww...that's a heart melter right there. I usually get a big bear hug too.
• Seth asks "why" a lot. Examples: Me: Seth, don't go #2 outside. Seth: Why? Me: Seth, don't stick knives in outlets. Seth: Why? You get the idea.
• Seth says, "that is awesome" when he's really pleased about something.
• Seth asks frequently, "Do you want a piece of me?"
• Seth loves swords, capes, riding his bike, jumping on the trampoline with the neighbors, watching movies, and playing in the tub to name a few.
• Seth loves basketball shorts. He does not love church clothes.
• Seth loves dogs, but he's not a big fan of earthworms.
• Seth loves to go fast on anything.
• Seth is very particular. For example, making chocolate milk must include drinking some of the white milk before chocolate is added, licking the spoon after stirring, and putting the cup lid on himself. If any of these steps are missed, he will let you know and know. He is incredibly stubborn.
• Seth loves to sit on your lap and read a book.
• Seth's smile lights up a room. He is a very affectionate kid. He loves his family, and we love him!
