It has been such a hot year our summer has included water whenever possible. The kids and I have made the rounds of the Aquatic Center here plus trips to Brigham and North Ogden pools. The kids have also had fun on the tramp with the sprinkler and playing in world's smallest baby pool. Leah loves the water and can splash with the best of them. She also loves the pool and isn't a bit scared. She immediately wants to be on her back and wants you to hold her there while she floats with her ears under the water...not exactly normal baby behavior but she's very chill with it. Maybe we have a future swimmer.
Seth and Ian sat in this pool together for over an hour on an extremely hot afternoon. They entertained themselves with a piece of gum...yes he was eating it and playing with it and an otter pop wrapper named Dolphin. I'm glad they can use their imaginations.
After Leah joined them the splashing quickly got intense. She has no problems with tons of water in her face and everywhere else!
The kids also entertained themselves on a super hot afternoon with an impromptu lemonade and gatorade sale. They had a blast, and it was so cute watching the boys haul all their chairs and supplies up to the corner in the wagon and gator to attract more traffic. Earlier that morning Luke went for a follow up at the orthodontist because he's not losing any teeth, and the ortho yanked his top two spur of the moment. The one in particular was loose but Luke's eyes got as big as silver dollars when he said he'd just "give it a try." Two seconds later they were both out!
After her nap Leah joined her brothers to lounge in the shade and drink some lemonade!
